Abstract
This study examines the influence of spirituality
and social support on the psychological well-being of Muhammadiyah 03 SMP
students in Tanjung Sari Medan. Employing a quantitative correlational design,
data were gathered from 100 students using validated questionnaires measuring
spirituality, social support, and psychological well-being. Multiple regression
analysis showed that both spirituality and social support significantly predict
students’ psychological well-being, explaining 45% of the variance. Findings
indicate that higher spirituality and stronger social support contribute
positively to adolescents’ mental health. The study underscores the importance
of nurturing spiritual values and social networks to improve psychological
well-being in school environments. These insights can inform educators and counsellors
in developing holistic strategies to support student mental health.
